How clinicians usually read it

When it reads low
A lower value can mean
A lower ADH with a high osmolality is one of the hypothalamic-pattern reads used in CIRS. Thirst, urination, and the paired osmolality matter.
When it reads high
A higher value can mean
A higher ADH with a low osmolality is a different mismatch. Neither side of the pair should be read alone.
